Palace

Prerequisites: Embassy level 1, Main Building level 5, Residence may not already exist in the village, Travian Version 2.5 or higher

The palace is where the king or queen of the kingdom lives. Only one palace can exist in your realm at a time. Also only in the palace you can proclaim a village to be your capital.

The main purpose of a palace is to produce settlers or senators for settling or conquering new villages as described in the new villages page.

The palace has certain important qualities:

• The Palace is the only place where you can proclaim a city to be the capital. The capital cannot be conquered. Additionally, this is the only village where a stonemason can be built, and the only village where resource tiles can extended beyond level 10.
• In Travian 3 the palace can be completely destroyed regardless of how many villages you have!
• In Travian 2.5 (Classic) the village with the palace cannot be conquered if you have 4 or less villages.
